Lake Elmo Russian Olive Tree Removal
Lake Elmo Russian Olive Tree Removal Information and Volunteer Form
A group of volunteers gather together once a month to help cut down, extract and haul the Russian Olive trees around the edge of Lake Elmo. As one of the most visited state parks located inside the Billings city limits, Lake Elmo not only provides outdoor recreation for families, but also plays a vital role in connecting people with nature.
The sustainability and growth of these community-wide events at Lake Elmo State Park is dependent on the resources available. As a State Program, the resources available are limited and as a result, we seek to acquire volunteers to help with the Russian Olive tree removal programs.
If you are interested in the removal project please fill out the form below. All volunteers are welcomed.
